OUR STORY

Coach Enoch grew up in north Florida and moved to Gainesville in 2004 to run for the University of Florida's Cross Country and Track Team. Upon graduation, he moved out of state for five years, but his passion for community and family brought him back to Florida in 2015.

In 2016, Coach Enoch founded Team Florida Track Club (Team FTC for short) to build a community that brings people together to run stronger and support one another.

Team FTC welcomes runners of all abilities and offers customized training plans, as well as one-on-one running form sessions. Team FTC's programs are designed to offer runners the same level of race-specific workouts, nutrition guidance, and pacing strategies typically reserved for elite athletes.

Our Team

ENOCH NADLER

FOUNDER & COACH

Enoch discovered his passion for running in middle school, where he began coaching himself and his teammates to deepen his love and understanding of the sport. He went on to compete for the University of Florida Track & Cross Country teams, earning All-SEC and All-Region honors.

While living in Dallas, Texas, Enoch coached a small group of runners with whom he also trained and qualified for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. After returning home to Florida in 2016, he founded Team Florida Track Club and transitioned into full-time coaching. Since then, he has built a vibrant local running community that reflects both his competitive drive and commitment to athletes at all levels.

In the early years of the team, Enoch continued to compete at a high level, moving up to the marathon in 2017. He debuted with a time of 2:18:17 and went on to run three marathons within a 10-month span in 2019 and early 2020. After placing 22nd at the Boston Marathon in 2:17:06, he lowered his personal best to 2:13:04 at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. At the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in Atlanta, Enoch finished 24th with a time of 2:15:30.

Today, Enoch remains deeply engaged in the local running community, sharing his passion for the sport through coaching and mentorship.

ANGELA NADLER

CO-FOUNDER & COO

Angela was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey but moved to Tampa, FL at the age of 10 with her mother and sisters. Angela earned a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2010. After working as an Engineer for several years, and traveling abroad in 2014/15, Enoch and Angela moved back to Florida to be closer to family. Shortly after moving to Gainesville, the couple founded Team FTC in the fall of 2016.

As a Lean Green Belt Certified Engineer, specializing in process optimization and improvement, Angela enjoys applying her problem-solving background to the everyday challenges of running your own business.

In addition to being passionate about Team FTC, Angela works as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer where she advocates for foster children. Angela, a former foster child herself, enjoys helping children in need the same way so many amazing people helped her along the way.

Running background:

When Team FTC launched Angela's running background was very limited. She had completed a few local 5k's in 2012/13 but had no formal running or sports experience as a youth or adult. As the team took off, so did Angela's training and love for running. She completed her first Half Marathon at the Tom Walker in 2016 in a little over 2 hours. A year later she lowered her time to 1:44 at the local FPOL Half Marathon. Then a year after that she ran her first Marathon in 2019 in 3:24 to qualify for the 2020 Boston Marathon. As a Member of Team FTC Elite, Angela has become a leader at practices and races. Her passion continues to grow for running and coaching as she gains knowledge and miles under her feet.

MATT STAMEY

PHOTOGRAPHER

Matt is the Marketing and Communications photographer for Santa Fe College in Gainesville. He's also a freelance photographer shooting a variety of sporting events around the country for the Associated Press, The College Football Playoffs, USA Today, and the Florida Gators. Stamey's completed three full marathons and 13 half marathons and joined Team FTC in 2019.

Matt Veretto

ASSISTANT COACH

Matt Veretto was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and moved to Gainesville in April 2025. After spending several years as a Software Engineer, Matt stepped away from tech to pursue work that is more aligned with the running passion that helped reshape his life. He is a USATF-certified coach and founded Team FTC Kids in July 2025 to help young runners find the same joy, confidence, and community that running has brought him.
Matt began running in May 2023 simply to improve his health, but the sport quickly became much more than that. Within six months he found himself at the start line of his first trail 50K, falling in love with the challenge and sense of purpose that distance running offers. Today, his interests range from 5Ks to 100-mile ultras, and he enjoys helping others discover their own version of that journey.

As a coach, Matt believes in fostering a love for running through consistency and community, and he emphasizes making the sport fun and accessible at every level. He’s married with three young kids, and when he’s not coaching, training or racing, he’s either spending time with his family or with Team FTC Kids, working with the next generation of runners.
